Linda Christianson’s wood fired pots at Trax will continue to be available until we depart for the annual Mother’s Day weekend St. Croix Pottery Tour. Linda prefers the quiet of the countryside, working alone in her studio and making pots for daily use in the kitchen. She cooks on a wood stove, and both she and her husband Jeff, tap maple syrup – this year producing 30 gallons. Her buckets are meant for compost, slab “toast” plates intended for sushi, and beautiful small bowls for ice cream, bigger bowls for winter soup. Every pot is made with intention, not to say you, as user, has to abide by it!
Warren MacKenzie passed in December 2018 at age 94. He left us his many pots, if not his person. Warren shared his joy of making pots with all who knew him. We will have refinds from collectors and “saves” from TRAX for sale online.
