Trevor Dunn
Trevor Dunn studied sculpture and ceramics at the University of South Florida. After graduating, he moved to Durango, Colorado, where he established a studio, built a small anagama kiln, and pursued his interest in wood-fired ceramics. In 1999, he joined the faculty at San Juan College, teaching ceramics and sculpture until 2006. He earned his MFA in ceramics from Utah State University in 2009.
Trevor has lectured internationally and led workshops across the country on wood firing, salt/soda firing, and kiln building. His work has been exhibited in numerous shows and is included in both public and private collections. In 2024, he received the Innovative, Interdisciplinary, and Experiential Teaching Award for his Surfboard Design and Fabrication class, as well as his second Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award. He is currently a professor of ceramics at the University of North Florida.
